Kids Korner 2010/2011 Schedule

** Meeting times unless otherwise stated will always be Sundays after Church until 2:30 p.m. - your children will be feed lunch.

Your child receives and can earn extra points at each Kids Korner meeting. The points value is listed in the breakdown below.

Attendance= 100

Memory Verse= 150

Bringing a Friend= 100

Bringing your Bible= 100

**There is a one time 500 point bonus for quoting the Books of the Bible. This can be done by either simply quoting the books of the Bible in order or by singing the Books of the Bible song, which we will be teaching them throughout the course of the year.

To encourage complete memorization of all Bible verses, your child will be given the chance to say any of the memory verses at every Kids Korner meeting for points. The first time the verse is to be said they will be given 150 points, if they say that same verse the next week they will be given 75 points and every time after that they will be given 25 bonus points. For example, if it was the 6^th Kids Korner of the year, your child would have 5 verses. If they could say them all they would receive 150 for the newest, 75 for the second newest and 25 for the 3 oldest verses. He or She could get 300 points for quoting the verses instead of only 150. The intent here is to highly emphasize the importance of hiding God’s Word in their heart. We want to reward those who memorize the verses and can quote them all each and every week. In an effort to allow more time for verses to be quoted, all extra verses will need to be said at the end of Kid’s Korner.

These points will be totaled at the last Kids Korner before summer. The children can then redeem them for merchandise on our “buy night”.
